ViewSonic has on Thursday, July 3, launched its latest 138-inch foldable LED display, The LDS138-151 is designed for use in flexible, high-usage public spaces like galleries, training halls, corporate lobbies, and auditoriums. The LDS138-151 does not have to be permanently installed, making it easier to transport.
Furthermore, the foldable LED display comes with a pre-assembled kit that includes LED modules, cabinets, and a motorised floor stand with an integrated system control box. As a result, no additional power supplies, stitching machines, or control systems are required. Because of its simple architecture, users can just turn it on and begin presenting.
“With the LDS138-151, we’re addressing a growing demand for large-scale displays that are both powerful and practical. This solution enables enterprises, institutions, and creative environments to deploy big-screen experiences with plug-and-play simplicity,” said Muneer Ahmad, Vice-President, AV Business, ViewSonic.
The LDS138-151 has dual-band 2.4G/5GHz Wi-Fi integrated in for smooth operation. It supports four HDMI inputs and has Picture-by-Picture AirSync for seamless screen sharing, and has the vCast app pre-installed. Additionally, it has a small space for installing a laptop or small PC, which in turn simplifies the setup.
The display offers full HD clarity with a pixel pitch of 1.588 mm, brightness up to 600 nits, and a 100-level brightness adjustment. Even in ambient light, its wide 120 per cent Rec.709 colour gamut—made possible by Cinema SuperColor+TM Technology—produces vibrant and accurate colours.
The structural design of the LDS138-151 is another distinct feature in the foldable display, which relocates the control box from underneath the screen into the motorised floor stand which makes cable management easier. In addition to integrating key system components, the control box incorporates two 30W speakers that are positioned at a 45-degree angle to provide strong, focused sound without the need for external AV equipment.
The design of the screen reduces packing volume, allowing for easier transport in elevators, floor and venues. The screen also arrives sealed in a moveable flight case to avoid any damage during transit and easier for instant use upon delivery. The LDS138-151 has a motorised stand that allows the user to adjust the height by 65cm and silent wheels for smooth transfer or relocation of the device in the venue. The device is perfect for dynamic content distribution, video conferencing, and hybrid meetings.
