Rescue workers in Tibet are searching for more survivors and victims, one day after a strong earthquake leveled thousands of houses and killed at least 126 people. Tents, quilts and other relief items were being delivered to the western China region to provide shelter for those whose homes are uninhabitable or unsafe. Wintry temperatures fell well below freezing overnight in the high-altitude region. The confirmed death toll stood at 126 with another 188 injured as of Tuesday evening.
