OneOnePlus, on Thursday, officially launched the OnePlus Pad 3 alongside the OnePlus 13s, its first ever compact smartphone. The newest tablet in OnePlus’ lineup is less than six millimetres thin and comes with an all-metal unibody design that looks and feels premium. Sporting a 13.2-inch LCD screen with a 3.4K resolution, the tablet has a unique 7:5 aspect ratio that makes multitasking easy.

Building on the OnePlus Pad 2, the newly launched OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is available in two variants – one with 12GB RAM and 256GB and another one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

All of this is backed by a 12,140mAh battery, which OnePlus claims lets you play high-end AAA games for up to 6 hours or play videos for up to 17 hours. It also supports 80W fast wired charging. The OnePlus Pad features a total of eight symmetrically aligned speakers – four woofers and four tweeters that offer an immersive audio experience.

However, OnePlus is yet to clarify how many OS upgrades the Pad 3 will get.

On the camera front, the OnePlus Pad 3 comes with a 13MP rear camera with OIS that can record videos in 4K resolution and an 8MP selfie shooter. Like last year, customers will also be able to buy accessories like a tri-folding folio case, keyboard with a new AI button and Stylo 2 stylus.
