A few months ago, Nothing unveiled the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro, its latest mid-range devices. Now, it looks like the company is focusing on the Nothing Phone (3), its first ever premium phone that will offer a flagship experience.

In a video on the Android Show channel on YouTube, Nothing CEO Carl Pei announced that the Phone (3) will be priced around 800 pounds, which currently translates to $1,063 or Rs 90,500, taking into consideration the current exchange rate. You can check it out at the 50 second mark in the video below. This is almost double the price of the Phone (2), Nothing’s most expensive smartphone to date.

Pei also said that the Nothing Phone (3) will be made from “premium materials” and have “software that really levels things up.” Following the success of existing mid-range devices, it looks like Nothing wants to take on the likes of Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi, who have been making flagship phones for decades.

The launch date seems to be in line with the company’s previous timeline, with Pei confirming that the Phone (3) will be coming sometime in the third quarter of the year, meaning we should see it sometime between July and September. The Phone (3)’s price hike isn’t surprising, as Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis had previously confirmed in a post on X that its upcoming phone will be a true flagship.

And while there is currently no news about the specifications, since the Nothing Phone (3) will be a flagship Android device, it is likely to either sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite or go with the fastest MediaTek chipset.

Festive offer

With Android 16 going public next month, the Nothing Phone (3) may run on the latest version of Android out of the box. Also, similar to the Nothing Phone (3a) series, we might also see a dedicated button that lets offers quick access to AI features.
