If you’re not a digital artist, you might think the Apple Pencil isn’t worth the price. Today it is: Amazon’s Woot is selling the USB-C Apple Pencil for only $60, an impressive 25 percent discount from its $79 MSRP and the best price we’ve ever seen.
This particular Apple Pencil is fantastic for note-taking, signing documents, and, of course, drawing. Since it comes with tilt and pressure sensitivity, you’ll be able to more accurately create shading and varying line weights in your digital artwork, for instance. It will also make underlining things in documents or notes better. Compared to the higher-priced Apple Pencil Pro, it doesn’t have higher-end features such as gesture support or haptic feedback, but it’ll still be great for navigation and writing.
Keep in mind that while you’re getting this for a great price, it won’t come in an Apple box. However, Woot promises the Pencil will be brand new and comes even have a 1-year vendor warranty. It’s not not, however, eligible for Apple Care.
This Pencil is compatible with every iPad that has a USB-C port and runs iOS 17.1 or later. It’s a fantastic option at its usual $79 pricetag, and now that you can get one for $60, it gets our full recommendation. So go grab one before it’s gone forever.
