iPhone 16 price drops before iPhone 17 launch: Best Amazon, Flipkart deals

The iPhone 17 series is just a few days away. It is that time of the year when older generations of iPhone with their possible price drops find many takers. As is customary, the iPhone 16 is currently being sold with a host of offers.

Launched on September 9, 2024, the iPhone 16 series features five smartphones – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max and the recently released iPhone 16e. The iPhone 16 series is powered by Apple’s advanced A18 chipset and comes with 8 GB RAM.

iPhone 16 under Rs 40,000?

The iPhone 16 base model with 128GB was launched at Rs 79,900 however, Amazon is currently offering the device with a 12 per cent discount at Rs 69,999. Besides, customers can avail No Cost EMI with savings up to Rs 3,000 on EMI interest through Amazon Pay ICICI bank credit cards.

Most importantly, Amazon is offering an exchange discount of up to Rs 36,050 on the iPhone 16. This means you can further bring down the price of the device to under Rs 40,000 based on a combination of the exchange offer, cashback, and discounts.

iPhone 16 on Flipkart with massive discounts

Flipkart is currently offering iPhone 16 with a 10 per cent discount at Rs 71,399. The e-tailer is also offering multiple deals on the device including a 5 per cent cashback with Flipkart Axis Bank and SBI credit cards (up to Rs 4,000), and Axis Bank debit card (up to Rs 750). Meanwhile, HDFC Bank users get 8 to 10 per cent cashbacks (up to Rs 1,600/Rs 1,500) on credit, debit, and EMI transactions, along with extra flat discounts of Rs 500 on select EMIs. There’s also a special price discount of Rs 8,501, no-cost EMI from Rs 5,950 per month. Flipkart is also offering an exchange discount of up to Rs 61,700.

The iPhone 17 series will be launched on September 9 at the highly anticipated Appel Awe-Dropping event that will take place at 10:30 PM IST, and the devices are likely to go on sale in India from September 19.
