Apple currently has ten retail stores in Japan, an important market for the company. But later this month that number will go up to 11, with the launch of a new outlet in Osaka.
To celebrate this opening, which is slated for July 24, Apple has released an attractive new wallpaper. It’s available in sizes tailored for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and won’t cost you a penny (just click those links to download).
(Technically the filenames indicate that the wallpapers are designed for “mobile,” “tablet,” and “desktop” rather than specifically Apple-branded products. Android and Windows fans should feel free to join in too.)
The new store is in the the Grand Front shopping complex in the Umeda district of Osaka, Japan.
As you might expect, the part of Japan best provided with Apple stores is Tokyo, which has five; all other locations (Kyoto, Osaka, Aichi, Kanagawa, and Fukuoka) currently have just one each. Which means that, as of July 24, Osaka will jump into second place with two stores.
