Google is all set to hold its highly anticipated ‘Made by Google’ event tomorrow (August 20), where it will draw the curtains back on its latest lineup of Pixel smartphones. This year, Google will reportedly unveil five variations, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 XL, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the much-awaited Pixel Pro Fold.
The Pixel 10 launch event is being held in New York, United States. Those in India and elsewhere can watch the live-stream of the launch on August 20, via the tech giant’s official YouTube channel as well as the official Made by Google event page.
The livestream will kick off at 10:30 PM IST. Viewers can set a reminder via YouTube or follow updates in real-time across Google’s official handles on various social media platforms.
Pixel line-up: What to expect
According to leaks, the Pixel 10 will feature a triple camera setup with telephoto lens, similar to previous Pixel Pro models. Additionally, Google is switching production of the Tensor G5 CPU from Samsung to TSMC, which is expected to result in better thermal conduction and processing power.
Various tipsters have also hinted that the Pixel series will also feature wireless charging compatibility through the “Pixelsnap” brand, which is expected to be compatible with major Android smartphones.
According to hints from Tipster, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the first folding phone with an IP68 rating, providing total protection against dust particles.
Another tipster from Android Headlines said that Google may have added a new AI tool dubbed “Camera Coach” that could use Gemini to give you tips as you are shooting, including how to improve lighting or camera angles.

The phone is said to be available in Google’s regular black finish, “Obsidian”, along with three other colours: “Indigo”, “Frost”, and “Limoncello”. The Pro models will likely come in “Porcelain” white, “Jade”, and “Moonstone”, while the 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will be available in the same “Obsidian” black.
Pixel Watch and Earbuds
The Pixel Watch 4 and perhaps a new model of Pixel Buds might also likely make their debut at the launch event. If accurate, this would reinforce Google’s efforts to create a more unified array of Pixel hardware.
