A few weeks ahead of the iPhone 17 series launch, Apple has announced that it will be opening its first-ever retail store in Pune, Maharashtra. Named Apple Koreagaon Park, the retail store is located in the KOPA mall and will open its doors for customers from September 4 at 1 PM.

The barricade for Apple’s fourth retail store was revealed on Tuesday, August 26. Following in the footsteps of Apple’s Bengaluru retail store, which was revealed last week, Apple says that the Pune store is adorned with rich, vibrant features by India’s national bird – the Peacock, with the artwork celebrating the company’s third and fourth stores in India.

While Apple is yet to share details about the store, the tech giant did say that customers at Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park will be able to explore the company’s latest product lineup, experience new features and get support from Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses and dedicated Business teams.

Customers will also be able to attend Apple Sessions at the new store and get started with their devices or refine their skills in areas like photography, art, music and coding by participating in free events led by Apple Creatives.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Apple officials from the United States will visit Pune for the store’s launch, which is expected to span approximately 10,000 square feet. The store is located on the ground floor, which is in line with Apple’s global design and customer experience standards.

Before Apple inaugurates its first Pune store, the tech giant will open its doors to its third retail store located at Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bellary Road, Bengaluru, on September 2.

Two years ago, Apple opened its first-ever retail store in India’s financial capital – Mumbai. Located in the Jio World Drive Mall at Bandra Kurla Complex, the store’s opening was attended by Apple CEO Tim Cook and Deirdre O’Brien, the senior vice-president of Retail.
