You don’t have long left to save $199 on these eight brilliant Steam Deck games

Read Time:3 Minute, 49 Second

You have less than a week to jump on this month’s Humble Choice and grab yourself eight brilliant games, all of which are Steam Deck compatible, for just $15. This saves you $199 against the MSRP of the games on Steam, and included in this month’s lineup are games like Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader and Daemon X Machina.

While the Steam Deck continues its reign as the best gaming handheld, the monthly selection of Humble Choice games will run great on any handheld gaming PC with equal or greater power than Valve’s portable. This means you should still jump on this offer even if you’re playing on an Asus ROG Ally X, Lenovo Legion Go, or even a device such as the Ayaneo 3.

Breaking down the numbers, for just $14.99 / £11.49, you can save $199.93 / £167.49 against the total MSRP of this month’s games on Steam. The biggest saving of the year came in May, where you saved $258.41 / £232.55, but even with the new price rise, you’re saving more compared to June’s games.

There is no membership obligation with Humble Choice, meaning you can pay for one month, claim your games, and cancel your subscription at any time – the games are yours to keep forever. If a new set of games arrives that you don’t like, or perhaps you own many of them already, you can also opt to skip a month. To grab your subscription, click this link here.

The July 2025 Humble Choice games are:

  • Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader  – Steam Deck Verified
  • Cat Quest 3 – Steam Deck Verified
  • Death’s Door – Steam Deck Verified
  • Daemon X Machina – Steam Deck Playable
  • Wizard with a Gun – Steam Deck Verified
  • Neo Cab – Steam Deck Playable
  • Everafter Falls – Steam Deck Verified
  • Blanc – Steam Deck Verified

This is another month heavily focused on great indie games, with no titles that would be considered triple-A included. Some may find that situation disappointing given the recent price rise, but there are still some genuinely fantastic games on offer this month.

Take Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader, for example. This mammoth RPG takes up to 148 hours to complete, according to HLTB data, and it holds a very positive rating on Steam with over 22,000 reviews.

Despite releasing late in 2023, it still has around 15,000 daily players and is set to receive two new huge content expansions in 2026, adding to the two that have already been released.

Another highlight of this month’s selection is Daemon X Machina, a mech action game similar to the Armored Core series, but perhaps a bit more inviting, thanks to its anime art style and simplified approach to combat. A sequel, Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion, is coming this September, so it’s a great time to enter the series and see if it catches your attention.

The final game I want to highlight is Cat Quest 3. I’ll shamefully admit to having played the first two Cat Quest games on PS5 because they are easy platinum trophies, but along the way, I became a big fan of the series.

Whether it’s the endless cat puns, constant hilarious references to other popular RPGs such as Skyrim, or just the simple gameplay that sees it become a cozy adventure of sorts, the Cat Quest games won me over long ago, and given half a chance, they just might win you over too.

On top of the eight games, you’ll also get five discount vouchers in July’s Humble Choice. One of these is for 80% off the Daemon X Machina complete DLC bundle, while the other four are for various Story of Seasons games and bundles. You can grab 65% off Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town, 75% off Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town, and 50% off Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life. The final voucher is for 65% off Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town with the expansion pass set included.
