Honkai Star Rail Cipher release date speculation
Honkai Star Rail’s Cipher is due to release in the second half of version 3.3, which should fall on June 11, 2025. Her banner runs alongside a rerun of Honkai Star Rail’s Aglaea.

Who is Cipher?
Cipher is a five-star quantum character who walks the path of Nihility. These pathstriders focus on inflicting the enemy with debuffs, reducing their combat capabilities. This makes a lot of sense for Cipher’s character, as she’s sly and tricky, thanks to taking on Zagreus, the Trickery Titan’s coreflame.
Cipher is a skilled thief and can speedily travel between locations with ease, which is a skill that she has used to transport the Trailblazer to various places during the Flame-Chase Journey. She also sports cat ears and a tail, which match her slippery and elusive nature.
As a quantum Nihility character, Cipher’s kit makes her a great sub-DPS option, applying debuffs to enemies and inflicting True Damage. This means she might pair well with Honkai Star Rail’s The Herta and Honkai Star Rail’s Tribbie in the future, thanks to their abilities.
Who are Cipher’s voice actors?
You might recognize Cipher’s Chinese voice actor, Wang Yaxin, as the voice provider for Genshin Impact’s Xinyan. Her English voice actor, Shea Fariday, is an emerging voice talent who has mostly worked in theater.
Ayasa Ito, Cipher’s Japanese voice actor, has an extensive history of videogame acting, including voicing Elegg in Nikke, IJN Kazagumo in Azur Lane, and Beanstalk in Arknights. Her Korean voice actor, Mi So, has also appeared in Arknights as Contrail, as well as voicing Nero Draco in Fate/Grand Order.
