Hollow Knight Silksong fast travel guide

Read Time:3 Minute, 13 Second

Where are the Silksong fast travel locations? If you played Hollow Knight, you’ll know the game is vast and complex. Pharloom is by no means a small place, and you might want some help traversing the world as you make your way to The Great Citadel.

Luckily, that’s where Bellways comes in. You’ll have to wait a little while until you can unlock fast travel in the metroidvania game, but to save you wandering aimlessly around the vast Silksong map, here’s how to unlock fast travel, and where to find all the Silksong Bellways.

How to unlock Silksong fast travel

To unlock fast travel in Silksong, you must first defeat the Bell Beast. This then opens up the first Bellway, and reveals the Bell Beast as your mode of transport. To use it, you must then find and unlock a second fast travel Bellway.

We’ve got a separate guide if you need help finding and beating the Silksong Bell Beast boss. Once you’ve done so, the trouble comes in locating and unlocking the remaining stations, which we’ve got more on below.

How to use fast travel

To use Silksong fast travel, you must unlock each Bellway, which costs 50 Rosaries, so make sure you have enough before heading to the locations below.

It’s worth noting that rosaries are lost upon death, but can be picked up from where you died, by breaking the coccoon left in your place. If you need more, though, we’ve got a brilliant guide on farming rosaries, so you should never come up short.

You can also use rosaries to purchase Bellway Pins from Shakra, which then show all found and activated Bellways on your map.

Silksong Bellway locations

Wherever in Pharloom you are, Silksong fast travel locations are marked with signs painted with three arrows. One will point you in the right direction, and you should see another letting you know you’re on the right track.

Mosslands

The Mosslands Bellway is located in the Bone Bottom pilgrim outpost, between the Little Pilgrim and Pebb’s shop.

The Marrow Silksong fast travel Bellway marked on the in-game map.

The Marrow

The Marrow Bellway is actually the first you’ll find, as it’s the home of the Bell Beast, and where you first battle against it. To find it if you haven’t already, head out of the northmost Mosslands exit through the middle horizontal path.

The Deep Docks Silksong fast travel Bellway marked on the in-game map.

Deep Docks

The Deep Docks Bellway is located in the bottom left-hand corner of the area, and you’ll need to drop down the main vertical platform area, avoiding (or defeating) a flying bell miner enemy. Head into the tunnel at the bottom left of the descent, and you’ll be taken further down to the Bellway.

The Far Fields Silksong fast travel Bellway marked on the in-game map.

Far Fields

To find the Far Fields Bellway, head along the top platforms of the main stretch. Here, you’ll come across two red ant warriors, but you can just dash past them if you want.

The Silksong Greymoor fast travel location marked on the in-game map.

Greymoor

The Greymoor Bellway is located underneath the Halfway Home. Once you’ve passed through, head down at the first opportunity, and then right, following the arrows.

Bellhart

To find the Bellhart Bellway, head to the main merchant rest point, partway between the Shellwood and Greymoor entrances to the area.

The Silksong Shellwood fast travel location marked on the in-game map.

Shellwood

The Shellwood Bellway is over to the west of the area, close to the entrance to the Blasted Steps. There is also a rest area nearby.

The Silksong Blasted Steps fast travel location marked on the in-game map.

Blasted Steps

The Bellway in Blasted Steps can be found at the very top of the area. Unless you’re coming in from the north, which you won’t be the first time, you’ll need to climb the area to unlock the fast travel station.

While they might not reveal a use like Silksong fast travel, defeating the other Silksong bosses does allow you to access new areas in the single-player game, and some even grant you Needle upgrades to boost your combat and traversal abilities.
