How to get the Grow a Garden Glowthorn seed

The Glowthorn in Grow a Garden is a seed featured in Enchanted Seed Packs.

You have a 25% chance of receiving the Glowthorn seed from Enchanted Seed Packs. These can be obtained by fulfilling the wish requirements of the Wishing Well during the Fairy event.

Here are the odds of getting Enchanted Seed Packs in Grow a Garden:

• Tier 3 – 25.86%
• Tier 4 – 22.73% (2 packs)

The odds of getting a Enchanted Seed Pack from the Wishing Well changes as the tier increases. This is due to the expanded reward pool at each tier.

Later tiers have a slimmer chance of awarding a seed pack but will reward multiple packs at the same time, technically increasing the chances of getting the Glowthorn seed.

Keep the Wishing Well at tier 1 to effectively farm Enchanted Seed Packs for the Glowthorn seed. If you’re able to raise it to Tier 4 or Tier 5, you might be able to snag multiple Glowthorn seeds at the same time.

Being a multi-harvest plant with a high price floor, the Glowthorn isn’t a particularly special plant. Instead, it’s needed to complete a stage of the Fairy Favors and upgrade the Fairy Fountain to higher tiers. This increases the available rewards when making a wish. Without one, you’ll be stuck at a lower tier.
