Duet Night Abyss system requirements revealed as it tops 5.2M pre-registrations

As pre-registrations continue to skyrocket past the 5.2 million mark, the Duet Night Abyss system requirements have been revealed on the Epic Games Store. They’re relatively low for a 3D game being released in 2025, but this is to be expected given the animated art style of this fantasy RPG that should in theory make is easy to run on older gaming PCs and laptops.

Duet Night Abyss recently confirmed the removal of all gacha systems, a bold move that could favor the game in the long run against the likes of Genshin Impact. Just like Genshin, you won’t need the best graphics card to run this RPG, with decade-old systems having a shot at running the game with decent performance.

Here are the Duet Night Abyss system requirements on PC:

The Duet Night Abyss minimum requirements are exactly where we expect new games to be, given the art style deployed in the game. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i5 9th-gen CPU.

You’ll also need 16GB of RAM, which the latest Steam hardware survey suggests more than half of Steam gaming PCs do include. If you’re not one of those with at least 16GB of RAM, you won’t need to upgrade to 32GB or more for this game but it’s a change we recommend most gamers make anyway, as it benefits many other games and PC uses. As for the Duet Night Abyss recommended specs, the RAM requirement sticks at 16GB, but the GPU demands increase to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, while the processor choices jump to an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7 10th-gen CPU. These are still very modest choices that mean most gamers should have no issues running this game at higher settings, though the specs don’t explicitly state what frame rate and detail settings you can expect when using this hardware.

Finally, the Duet Night Abyss download size is currently listed as a tiny 20GB, but a low initial download size can often be the case with games that plan to add content over a long period of time. There is no mention of needing an SSD. However, we do recommend upgrading to an SSD anyway, if you’re still using an old-school mechanical hard drive, as your whole system will feel much faster at booting and loading.
