One or two won’t make much of a difference, but you’re sure to feel the sting if you jump into later areas with a minuscule health pool.

All Hollow Knight Silksong Mask Shard locations

You’ll need to collect four Mask Sharks to add another notch to your heath bar in Hollow Knight Silksong. You can find Mask Shards most often in faraway, hidden, and obscured places, though there’s one you’ll find early on that you can purchase with a few hundred Rosaries.

Bone Bottom Mask Shard

You can find and purchase your first Mask Shard at the shop in Bone Bottom. Simply speak to the vendor and fork over 300 Hollow Knight Silksong Rosaries, which might take you a little while to amass, so do check out our guide for some early-game farming spots.

Far Fields Mask Shard

Once you have the Drifter’s Cloak from the Seamstress, you’ll be able to use your new Glide ability to grab a Mask Shard.

Jump and glide to the top of the Seamstress’s room and you should spot some explosives you can use to reach the top-left corner of the area and enter a new room. Reach the left side of the room by uncovering the blocked gusts and you’ll spot a bomb you can drop from the ceiling above. This blows a hole in the ground, revealing a Mask Shard in the pocket below.

Wormways Mask Shard

The Wormways Mask Shard requires you to hop across the top of the elevators in the western reaches of Mosshome, requiring either the Hollow Knight Silksong Dash or Glide ability.

In the room that follows, use the platforms to protect yourself from the pursuing enemy’s acid spit as you head east. In the next room, drop into the water below and pound on the wall on the right to uncover a secret room housing your third Mask Shard.

Deep Docks Mask Shard (via The Marrow)

By starting in The Marrow, you can mosey through a locked gate visible from Deep Docks to uncover another Mask Shard. You just need the Drift and Wall Jump abilities to reach it.

Via the first chamber connecting The Marrow to Deep Docks, head to the top-right area of the map, scrambling up the walls and hopping across a few platforms. Enter the room, trigger the battle, and fend off the enemies to unlock the road to the right. Head inside to claim your Mask Shard.

Shellwood Mask Shard

This Mask Shard is found not too far from Shakra and the Flea. Jump toward the top-right corner of the room and smash through the wall. Complete the relatively simple jumping puzzle inside to uncover another Mask Shard.
