Smartphone giant Samsung, on Thursday, September 11, unveiled one of its slimmest and most durable devices – the Galaxy F17 5G. The device features Corning Gorilla Glass, offering strength and durability. It is 7.5 mm thin and comes with a host of AI capabilities.
When it comes to photography, the Galaxy F17 5G comes with a 50 MP primary camera with OIS. It can produce high-resolution, blur-free images and movies without tremor. It packs two types of lenses – macro and ultra-wide. For gorgeous selfies, the Galaxy F17 5G also has a 13MP front camera.
In addition to Circle to Search from Google, the Galaxy F17 5G also features Gemini Live, a new AI function that allows Galaxy users to have visual conversations with AI in real time.
Meanwhile, the display of the Galaxy F17 5G is a Full HD+ Super AMOLED. Samsung claims seamless multitasking and lag-free performance with the Galaxy F17 5G, which is powered by a 5nm-based Exynos 1330 CPU. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W rapid charging. Besides, the Galaxy F17 5G’s IP54 certification protects it from dust and water splashes.
Starting September 11, the Samsung Galaxy F17 5G will be sold at retail locations, on their website, and on Flipkart. The 4GB+128GB model costs Rs 13,999, the 6GB+128GB model costs Rs 15,499, and the 8GB+128GB model costs Rs 16,999.
To ensure longevity, Samsung is also promising six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates for the Galaxy F17 5G. In order to facilitate safe payments, Samsung has also integrated Tap & Pay with Samsung Wallet inside the Galaxy F17 5G. On-device Voice Mail, a new “Made for India” feature created by Indian engineers to enhance the calling experience, will also be available.
